I know the difference Labour makes.
I grew up in a town hit hard by the closure of the steelworks and Tory cuts. I personally benefited from Labour's investment in schools, reconnecting us with a long-awaited train station, and suporting families in need. That opportunity meant I became the first in my family to go to university, where I served two terms as Students' Union President at the University of Greenwich, representing more than 30,000 students across the South East.
Those same values of fairness and opportunity drive me now in Lewisham. Outside of work and the Party, I volunteer as Vice-Chair with a Ladywell-based housing and grant giving charity that provides homes for those in need later in life.
I'm standing to be your Crofton Park councillor—to put opportunity, fairness, and community at the heart of local life.
